Mission Statement

BLL Class_edited.jpg

Am-Tree Curriculum is planned and implemented to build self-confidence.
Throughout the year we focus on "Character Education" introducing topics such as
Feelings, Manners, Respect, Friendship/Caring, Honesty, Trust, Teamwork, Caring for
Nature, and Responsibility. With Creative Curriculum and Best Practice as our
framework for building curriculum, the children in our program receive a
strong foundation for their personal development and academic future.

We promote the use of “New Jersey Department of Education Quality of
Standards” to prepare our children for Elementary School readiness.

At Am-Tree we recruit and retain teachers who recognize and appreciate each child's
unique ability to learn and our staff adapts their teaching styles to support the
development of each child's individual learning style.
Our teachers are required to complete 20 hours of Professional Development annually to ensure
familiarity with best practices for early childhood care and education.

Am-Tree's teachers offer age appropriate educational experiences to nurture your child's
creativity and individuality. Our teachers offer children opportunities for making choices
and taking responsibility. By supporting children and preparing them for future success both
in and outside of the classroom, we strive to bring out the best in each and every child.

As partners in the education of your children, we encourage open communication and
establishing a healthy relationship with our families. We welcome families' input and
involvement in our program.

Am-Tree promotes a germ-free, clean, healthy, and safe environment. Our teachers
are trained in CPR and First Aid and are required to keep their certifications current.

Privately owned and operated by the Napolitano family since 1982, our focus and
philosophy is providing quality child care and education of the highest level and standards for the
children and families involved in our program.
